Comments on Case, Quigley, and Shiller
Description
At the AEA meetings in January 2003 (held in Washington, D.C.) I presented a discussion of the Case, Quigley and Shiller paper Comparing Wealth Effects: The Stock Market versus the Housing Market. Since then I have gotten several requests for the slides used in the presentation. For convenience, I provide them here. However the original paper has since been heavily revised, so several of my comments are no longer germane.
